One of Ibanez’s true classics A full-blooded full-hollow guitar for professionals or someone who just wants a really good instrument. Was already introduced in the early 80s.
The AF2000 is a full hollow-body guitar, with figured Anigre sides and bottom and spruce top, in a classic brown shade
finish. The neck is a 3-piece set-in (glued) roasted mahogany/maple neck, with a bound ebony fingerboard with classic Pearl and Abalone block inlays and 20 frets. Medium frets with Prestige Fret Edge Treatment.
The pickups are Ibanez Super 58. These combine a soft and nuanced tone with an ability to bite when needed. Works just as well for clean and traditional jazz sounds as for overdriven blues sounds.
A true Ibanez classic!
