OVERVIEW

Back in 1972, musician, innovator, and luthier Glen Quan saw the need for higher-quality guitar and bass bridges.

Drawing on his experience at Leo’s Music in Oakland, Leo Malliari helped give birth to the iconic “Badass” bridges. Made of high-density Zinc alloy, these bridges gave basses improved attack, sustain, and clarity – fast becoming a favorite among artists keen to upgrade their Fender models. Badass bridges were even featured on several signature Fender artist models!

Back in the ’80s, BC Rich, Spector, and Kramer set the tone by featuring Badass bridges on their guitars. Nowadays, folks all around the world know Badass as the gold-standard for upgrading their instrument’s tone, playability, and look.

BADASS Wraparound

Originally intended to replace Gibsons “wraparound” bridge, the Badass Wraparound Bridge radically boosts attack and sustain, and also allows you to individually intonate each string. Employed by famous guitarists such as Jimmy Page, Malcolm Young, Tony Iommi, Keith Richards, and Paul Reed Smith, the Badass Wraparound Bridge has long been the go-to for sonic improvement and pitch accuracy. Now equipped with locking studs of the highest quality, this bridge is a perfect upgrade for any Les Paul Junior, Les Paul Special, Melody Maker or equivalent guitar.
