Alfred’s son, Harmut, took over the workshop in 1977, followed by Harmuts son, Gerald, in 2003, continuing the family tradition. Today, the Knoll workshop continues to excel, crafting a diverse array of bows that cater to advanced students and professional soloists alike, upholding a tradition of excellence and precision in the art of bow making.
