A fretless modification of the still highly popular American Vintage Series Jazz Bass!
This guitar features a rare two-knob design. The neck pocket and neck date are both faded and difficult to read, but it appears to be 1989.
The neck has been modified to be fretless and the fingerboard is coated for a professional look. The pickguard has also been removed, giving it a look reminiscent of Jaco Pastorius.
With the sticky tone of the alder wood, the warm and clear tone produced by the two single-coil pickups, and the diverse expression provided by the front and rear volume/tone controls, you can experience a bass sound that lives up to its reputation as a timeless classic.
There are scratches and dents all over the guitar, dents on the fingerboard coating, dull parts, and a large dent and stand marks on the bottom of the body, but as the name suggests, it has a vintage feel.
The truss rod needs a little tightening, but there is still room within the normal adjustment range. The neck condition is a little high, but with the current setting (string height approx. 3.0mm-2.5mm), it is not too noticeable.
