The Duff 8 is an essential wood timpani mallet. Highest grade American hickory which is pre selected for weight and pitch before its even turned. Classic bulb shaped head for excellent head contact whether playing timpani flat or tilted. Laser engraved, hand sanded, hand pitched/weighed and six layers of finish. Recommended for any timpani passages/repertoire requiring wood sticks. Extremely hard.
