Gibson L-00 Special Acoustic-Electric Satin Wine Red

First introduced in 1932, The L-00 has remained one of the most popular of the small-bodied Gibson acoustics to this date, and now it’s been stripped down to one of its most attainable price points yet! This is the new L-00 Special, still offering the Gibson name along with solid tonewoods and hot hide glue build-quality! The L-00 Special has a round-shoulder body constructed of solid sitka spruce paired with solid mahogany back and sides. The top is reinforced with traditional scalloped X-bracing. The “concert depth” of this body is slightly thinner than a standard L-00 that gives it a comfortable feel along with a leaner and tighter bass response. Each Hummingbird Special features a L.R. Baggs Element Bronze pickup system, and comes with a padded Gibson gigbag for safe and easy transportation!
