K’s Guitar Works, a guitar workshop based in Zushi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, is known for its high-quality handmade guitars. We have a beautiful pre-owned “Standard Line” guitar, manufactured under OEM contract!
The Kz One is an original model released in 2015 by Japanese builder Ijuin, who also produced the official signature version of Queen guitarist Brian May’s beloved Red Special. This sexy, double-cutaway guitar features a unique silhouette and is packed with the techniques and ideas we pride ourselves on.
This is one of our “Standard Line” guitars, manufactured through an OEM contract. We outsource the main manufacturing to Terada Musical Instruments, and perform the final setup, such as pickup height, string height, octave adjustment, and nut finishing, at our Kz workshop, allowing us to produce guitars that are comparable to factory-made guitars at a reasonable price.
The pickups are three of K’s Guitar Works’ original single-coil pickups, “KGW.” The original design incorporates noise suppression, resulting in surprisingly low noise for a single coil. They offer a wide range, powerful, and solid sound, and the direct mounting to the body produces a tight, direct tone. The unique, original look with a rounded top adds to the appeal.
The greatest feature of this guitar is its control section. In addition to independent ON/OFF switches for the three pickups, it also features a series/parallel switch for mixed output. The 1-volume and 1-tone controls each feature a push/pull phase-out switch for the neck and middle pickups, allowing for a whopping 23 different sounds. From delicate, rich single-coil sounds to fat, noiseless high-gain sounds, the possibilities are endless! This guitar is perfect for any genre or scene, allowing you to create a sound that suits you!
“Kz One” is a masterpiece created by a builder who was fascinated by the Red Special, and is dedicated to all guitarists.

*As for the condition, there are no dents or other damage to the frets, and more than 80% of the frets remain. There is also ample room for the truss rod.
The electrical system is also in good condition, and overall there are only a few shallow scratches, making it a relatively unused unit.
