SA260FM-VLS Violin Sunburst

SA260FM-VLS (Violin Sunburst). The SA model is like something in between an S model and a normal thick guitar with an arched top (shelled front).

A rounder and softer cut guitar than the more angular RG model. With thicker and rounder necks, two-point non-locking bridge and True-duo humbucker in the bridge with singlecoil pickups in the neck and middle, it’s a guitar that speaks a more traditional language than much else in the Ibanez range. The model is a real sound chameleon that easily handles everything from soft pop to metal. The SA is a rounder and more C-shaped neck profile than what Ibanez usually has, a neck that feels more straight, more traditional.

A 22-fret fingerboard with medium frets continues to convey the same feel as the neck profile. A very nice neck that is easy to play for a long time. The body is made of Mahogany, a very beautiful type of wood that goes a little warmer and more mellow in terms of sound.

The treble is a little softly rounded, but without losing clarity and separation. It has a pleasant hump in the middle register which makes the sound when playing a melody/solo become fat and singing with long sustain.
